What to Do With Sheep Cheese
Jun. 3rd, 2006 10:52 amWoke up early and rode the tandem bike to the farmer's market. We have a lot of produce already, but I had to go back to the guy with mullet dreadlocks for more tasty strawberries. We then went out on our distance bikes (I wanted to test out Nephrite with the packs) to hit some garage sales. Nothing much, I ended with a purple leather knotwork minibinder. Hmm.. But it was $0.25 and benefiting a woman paying for her kidney transplant.
Last night we (by we I mean
lawnchair) cooked corn on the cob and roasted asparagus. Today I made up a recipe (Anatolian Pizza) for lunch. Numminess. Both use some of the tasty sheep cheese I bought at from the wonderful Lebanese woman with the tastiest lemonaid at the Farmer's Market (lemonaid with rosewater.. awesome). Recipes are behind the cut, since this is becoming a food blog way to fast.
