Cold, Rainy, Nasty Day

I woke up early this morning and took Barry to the vet. He's fine, he's just at the age where he needed a bit of surgery to protect my apartment. Lou will be sent as soon as her neck recovers. Then reliezed my truck was leaking coolant, so got some more. I bought some Bar's Leak to try as soon as it is decent enough to be outside. Then tried to give blood, but my vein kept moving away from the needle. After the fourth try I asked them to stop. And I'm small enough that they won't try the other arm (and I can't lie that much). So I got home and sat in the tub, trying to decrease the pain. Saw a job announcement for Pearson Government Services, and went in for an interview. I have a followup interview on Friday. It is for a bit more than I'm making now, full time, normal hours and possible benefits (health insurance sounds like a wonderful idea). The job is to deal with inbound calls about immigration issues. My previous security screening might help me, and the last month of customer service. Here's hoping. Sorry, I'm willing to quit Kwik Shop with little notice. They can survive.

It's cold (Ok, just at freezing). And raining. I have no desire to go anywhere today. I'm glad people enjoy my soup recipes. I might be making Potato Cabbage later tonight.
