The weather has broken. This morning smelled felt like fall. Even better, it smelled like fall. Took a very nice walk down to some garage sales. Haul consisted of a fleece, a topless shirt with glittery flames and a cheap old tablet input. Ran into starstraf.

This weekend's goal is to clean the house well enough to have people over. Not that I will, but that's my standard. And it is getting on my nerves. I've putzed around, but gotten a surprising amount done: the bathroom (could scrub tub, but it will just get blue again), the bedroom (could dust shelves, throw out Navy gear - auroraceleste who do I need to call in order to give it to the theater department?), and library (books are on the proper shelves, just not all shelved). The laundry room isn't too bad. The kitchen just needs the table cleared off, and the floor scrubbed (somebody cleaned out the cabinets one of the weekends I was off gallivanting). The living room is still the worst. We finally threw out the loveseat as it stank too much. I'm keeping my eye open for something to store beading stuff in, then rearrange some furniture in there.

One of the collections that has gotten its own shelf our small animal menagerie: dragon, mammoth, squid (with only five tentacles), chameleon, possum, puffin, rhino and crow.
