Not Going Home For Christmas
Dec. 22nd, 2009 12:07 pmIt looks to be a white Christmas on the plains. As the thunderstorm/snowstorm/blizzard is predicted to stretch along my entire route home starting the day before I want to travel to the day after, I'm not going to bother. Rather hunker down and snuggle (and set up new loom). Tentatively, I'm just pushing all plans back one week and will spend New Year's visiting family. My parents mentioned coming to visit me, but part of the reason I wanted to head north was to see grandparents (all five of them), and most of them don't travel anymore.
So what should I cook for Christmas? Lawnchair still doesn't eat red meat, and I'm sick of bird.

A thought.
