On Being Domestic
Feb. 27th, 2005 03:47 pmLast night I found season two of Roswell used at Hastings. I figured it was worth the reduced price. I admit that I have bad taste to be amused by this show. I will not say my comments about their complete inability to understand basic science. Especially since one of the main characters wants to go into science.
So I put a couple of episodes on and finally washed my dishes. With the kitchen livable again, I needed to cook. Time for the weekly grocery run of $30. Seems to be my normal food costs. I am shocked at the ridiculous cost of toilet paper. Apparently I have never paid attention before, but almost $0.50 per roll, even for the cheap stuff? I'm cooking some split pea soup and corn chowder (I couldn't decide, Ok).
Still contemplating grad school choices.
