Hiking and Soaking
May. 29th, 2004 01:39 pmSo yesterday I did nothing. Not even my laundry, like I've been promising. Well, I went up to the top of a hill and drank a Coke and discussed traveling with a random Canadian. Normal.
Today I was going to wake up early and hike. Ha. Around 9 or so I made my way out of the hostel, and embarked on a brief hike. It lasted about 2.5 hours before I ran out of trail and onto a road. Pretty forest, so I turned around. Much more bird noise than the Black Hills.
I'm about to go off to Baden-Baden to soak in a spa. I hear there are some that allow 2 hours for €12, so I shall see. I don't deserve it since I barely hiked at all, but.. hot water!
Oh, and I will go to Switzerland tomorrow, I think. The random Canadian recommended Interlochen, so I will try there. I have booked a bed in Munich at the Easy Palace Hostel for June 1.
