The SD abortion bill isn't about politics, it is about money. See, South Dakota is a a continually poor state, with little industry. That is why they tend to vote Democrat in congress - it brings home the money. Last election cycle, millions of dollars were spent in the contested race between Daschle and Thune. Most of this money came from out of state. Now, out of state groups on both sides are going to South Dakota to "influence" the antiabortion legislation. Now, if they just spend money.. South Dakota has discovered a new industry. Politics.
