The Signs Point Towards the Library

affrecaOr I'm hoping. Got to love the adulthood search for a job that you enjoy. First, thanks to Anne, I have found Unshelved, the comic that makes me want to be a librarian. Ok, I'm a traitor to my gender if I identify with Dewey more, but he reviews books on Sundays. Many are even SF books. And good ones.
The other hint was yesterday. I came into the office grumbling about Anschutz, and my office mates told their stories. One of them has a book checked out that he keeps renewing, and plans on never returning, because he can not find a copy (yes, he has checked online. Even obscure places like ex libris). I have a copy. Make that had. To make sure Anschutz's copy doesn't walk off, I gave him mine. I don't need it ever, and it is useful to him (Exploration Seismology?). And he's a polite midwestern boy, so he says he'll look at prices, and give me some money.

Yes. We'll see what crazy career I decide on halfway through MLIS (if I even get that far). I do seem to enjoy teaching.
