The Richness of Egg Nog

So I'm trying not to freak out about my paper writings, yet still be pushed to finish them. Talked to other students this morning, also worried about papers. Resolved to ask for extension for class, pussied out (wierd word, pussied). Worked on a little. Talked to hydro classmates about that paper, relieved that half of them don't know how to get references that KU doesn't have. And haven't started. Got to Stats. Wondered when I would study for test. Got handout for test. Confused by date. Realized date was Thursday. Not date that was on syllabus. Freaked. Emailed Tectonics prof, got extension. Got more references, blessed the journals that we have electronically. Went grocery shopping while hungery.

So now I'm reading an article about Cretacous strike-slip faulting in the western US (one of which is my paper topic), and sipping egg nog. Or actually, writing in my livejournal, so you all know the joys of grad school. I understand my mother so much better now.

I will have to live vicariously through you when it comes to grad school. An admissions person would have to be on crack to let me into any grad school.
