Lawrence in the Spring

Ah, Lawrence is so nice a quiet over Spring Break. Much as I vaguely remember summers here (I don't think I've spent a summer in Lawrence since I was 11). Now, if it wasn't cold and rainy.

KU is still winning in the grad school competition. I need to talk to my possible adviser to get a better sense of research topics. I am excited because I am sure I can convince him that I need to take more math and physics, plus finally get some GIS classes. I feel bad that I know almost nothing about ArcView. Highly important skillset for employablity.

Today has been cold and rainy. It snowed for about an hour this afternoon, but the ground is already warm enough that everything melted when as it landed. Plan was to finally bike into work tomorrow. Even mounted lights on the bike. Then the ride issue came up. Elena and I have been taking turns giving Jessie a ride into work, and Elena was going to take it over. Well, her (we all hope soon to be ex)-husband is in the area, and following her on her drive. She's all tweaked out about it (not a winner type of man), and forgot to pick Jessie up today. I was already at work by then... I'm in the process of trying to convince Jessie to ride the bus. She is perfectly on the route, and can get out to work within 15 minutes on the bus. But I'm over polite.

I rarely take quizes, but I was curious about how I would do on this one. Considering my utter dislike of organized religion (Unitarians are to organized)..

Much to my chagrin. I lean toward Islam and then Christianity. HA. One never knows.
