Not much happening. I'm still going to work, still in training. I fill out my regular full time paperwork today, and have my benefits briefing tomorrow. Yeah! I should have health insurance by the end of the week. And can start building up vacation days. So someday I will have more than just a two day weekend. Not that I did much this weekend.

Trying not to get annoyed with the conservativism of Kansas. They're making intelligent design noises. What is so wrong with evolution? I blame my parents for teaching me genetics when I got fish. It's hard not to believe something you learn when you are preteen, and see with your own eyes. Not that they evolved.

And Amtrack? I hate all this talk about how it should be cut because of the federal subsidies. Umm.. Have you ever paid attention to the ways the airlines get federal money? All the money for security is just the start. How about the deals they get when they can't pay pensions? Or maybe I just love taking trains, and I don't want people taking that away from me.

Well, off to work. I have a test this morning.
