New Year has started with cold weather, though not as much snow as predicted (normal). I go back to work tomorrow, and into the office on Tuesday. I've been checking my email, with at least one task I don't want to deal with, but my mind is already foolishly stressing about (thus posting early in the morning).
I resubscribed to Netflix for the holiday. I still haven't watched Witcher, though that was what I planned to watch. Instead I watched Shadow and Bone, and have been alternating episodes of Great British Bake Off (Season 8) with Uncanny Counter (K-drama about a group of demon hunters). The benefit of watching GBBO is slightly higher than average baking this weekend (focaccia, brownies and sandwich bread).
After finishing giant shawl (except weaving in all the damn ends and blocking), I started on another giant shawl. I'm using the targhee gradient yarn I spun from fiber dyed for my LYS's 50 anniversary last year. I think this pattern is ideal for handspun, being flexible about gauge and yarn amounts. Also, the yarn reminds me of dead leaves and the shape reminds me of maple or sycamore leaves. I'm remembering that the first part of knitting is fun because the rows are shorter/faster. Glamor shot after cut.
