Fires Contained

affrecaApparently I've searched for updates about the fires in Sequoia NP that unprompted google gave me headlines that they're finally contained. In honor of that, have a picture I took the last day of our visit, after the majority of the park was closed because of said fires.
I'd write about exciting things, but right now I'm in the burnt out phase before lazy vacation. Part of me would rather have taken my leave earlier in the year when I could have used it for fun travel, but I'm so just ready to not work for a week and a half. I've renewed my netflix subscription, so my plan is to spin/knit in front of the TV. I have taken the big step of planning to visit parents the day before new years, and my sister on the way home. And maybe clean my closets (though I cleaned the camping closet last week).
