Knitting Mood

More in the mood for knitting over spinning, which is interesting. Last weekend I realized that I was going to be a passenger for several hours on Tuesday (PM changeover for one of my bigger sites, so drive to site and then tour around for the afternoon), so I decided to cast on for a pattern that I've done before (thus have already paid for the pattern) using some leftover yarns. I posted on FB in case someone was interested in a hat, so I've got a vague acquittance coming by this afternoon to pick it up.

I also might have a chance to knit a lot this Tuesday, as I'm working the local election, which is expected to be much less busy than the last one I worked. I'm bring the purple/grey cardigan that I'm still working on, but I also cast on another hat for a brainless knitting project.

I also finally frogged the Maema cardigan from last summer. I really didn't like how the armholes were sitting, but all I had left to knit was one half arm. It took me a year to be to the point of undoing all that work. I'm thinking the Sea Swell shawl to show off the five yarn fade that I managed.

I often let things sit a year before I can acknowledge that they weren't going to work, whether as project or for the recipient. Ah well. Five-yarn fade sounds neat.

Size 1 takes some commitment! Sounds as though it'll be really lovely, however you decide to proceed.

Yeah, by all signs this is going to be a pretty quiet election; our polling place is expected to get just 245 voters, even with two Overland Park and one Olathe precinct.

Ought to be a lot of time for knitting. :)
