Feeling Old

Based on a photo on facebook, it looks like my high school boyfriend is a grandpa. I knew he daughter with the girlfriend after me (very unplanned, neither were out of high school), so she's at a reasonable age to have a child of her own. Still.

When I was 37, people addressed me randomly as grandma when I took my then toddler to the park because it was their only interpretation somehow of my being there in the middle of the day (I was working half time then). :) Technically possible, but. Also, better than being addressed as her nanny, the only way that some other strangers could construe being at the park in the middle of the day....
