Relaxing

I decided to take it easy for the next couple of days. No good reason, I'm just in the mood to hide in my room and read. Finished the last of the books I brought with me, but found The Curious Incident with a Dog at Night-Time, which I will recommend to everyone. Vaguely Flowers for Algernon, much like The Speed of Dark. Evokes sympathy for those who function in the world much differently than the majority of us. Especially when you're in a country where you only partly understand the language (at least here it is partly).

The cathedral is amazing. Also went through the Roman history museum. Thought about going through the Ludwig Museum, because they have an exhibit on R. Crumb, but maybe tomorrow. Remind me to rant about tortured trees when I have a better keyboard. Also, I have only seen three cars in Germany with dents. No wonder Matt fit in (this will make sense if you have ever ridden in a car with him).

The weather looks like it is very pleasant where you are at; we have had almost 5 inches of rain in the last two weeks. Still cool here, so the bugs aren't bad yet. Your ma is busy planting; she just got more asparagus in. I weeded the strawberries and put cages around them. Dogs are behaving. We have kittens. Your sis is still waiting on final word on the house she wants to buy. I just signed a one-year contract with the reservation. The politics boards are getting more radical. Will Bush let us have another election? What will happen in 2012?

Did you miss your invitation to the Danish royal wedding?

I would hope you made it to the R.Crumb exhibit; just watched the Crumb film - he is the most amazing, talented, dysfunctional artist -

We await the text of your next adventure - Love from us
