Typical procrastination. I did not get as far on my essays as I would have liked. The truck issues ruined my mood. Though I love my bed. I just couldn't stay in it. I finally figured out what to write for my self-assessment essay. I was to describe a work or life experience that demonstrated my maturity, flexiblity, independent thinking and self-motivation. I had been considering my travel, but I wanted to use that for another essay. Finally I remembered the one part of the Navy that I excelled at, despite many struggles. Yep, the beginning during OCS. This Navy thing seems to impress people, for no good reason. So I talked about socks and study guides and being doorbody. Not smoothest, but an interesting read. Not the normal librarian essay, though I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. Whatever. At this point I just want to declare that "I'm me". I work at KwikShop (or will starting tomorrow morning).
