Two Days in a Row?

I've made some good progress on my cardigan. Still not sure if the change to the third ball is to abrupt, but might as well keep knitting. I think I'm running into the issue I have often with fiber I dye myself - lack of dynamic range. I think the purple in the third ball (the one I dyed) should be darker to match the second ball. Ah, live and learn.

I did fail my saving throw vs. buying more fiber last week. Apothefaery has been one of my favorite dyers for the last few years. I love her colors, lots of jewel tones, but also lots of toned down colors. Sadly, I did not get to buy anything from her at PlyAway, as it was canceled in April. So I bought four braids in different colorways of Rambouillet for a squishy sweater, a braid of Merino (possibly to go into one of the sweater amounts I've already gathered), and a braid of Southdown (for a pair of socks).

Cats. I was afraid Maui was going to jump up and bother poor Lju, but he thought better of it and continued up to the top of the chair. He almost looks worried.
