Spin, spin, spinning along

affreca Nothing much changed here. Still working from home, though scheduling field work as day trips this month. At least I got one event swapped for July (so it will take 3/4 of a day and not 2 days), and the other cut down by a third. I had my annual evaluation, which went well. I'm going into the office for the first time in a month to pick up sampling supplies.
I think I have a problem. See, some people stress bake or clean. Apparently I now spin yarn when I want to destress. With an extra two hours a day I'm not commuting, and that no one can see me spindle during work calls (or at the wheel if it is one I just need to listen to), I have gotten a lot done. Like one unplanned project, two planned ones and a couple little ones. And then I noticed that one of my fiber dealers was doing a spin along, that started when I started working from home. I was trying to finish plying the current project in time for the end of the SAL today, and managed to finish during the weekly knitting group. I just added up everything, and it's a little excessive. 6 pounds, for a total of about 3.5 miles of yarn. (Using SAL math, the mixture of 2 and 3 ply yarns makes 22204 yards).
Going to start knitting tomorrow. (I should start cleaning, but I think we all can accept that should doesn't need to be obeyed right now).
