Year in Review

affrecaPolitics have been a rampaging trash fire. My job has been pretty safe, but.. yeah. I put in my notice last week, and hopefully starting a new job soon (I may have put in my notice before having everything finalized, but I want a couple weeks off in between. Hopefully this does not turn into months).
My two boy cats passed away within a week of each other. That was rough, and there's still some bits I feel guilty about. We waited a month (after we were back from Thanksgiving travel), and brought home a sweet teenage cat. Maui looks full grown, but he his still hyper and curious. Still debating if we should pick out a play mate for him, as Lju is 13 and Grok is 18. In other news, Grok is still alive and doing pretty well. She's not the best about grooming herself, and has swellings in her front legs, but has not problem getting around and getting her way.
I don't have a craft goal this year. Spinning, knitting? I impulse bought another wheel after Christmas, and I've been playing with it. When I start new job, I will have a lot more commute to knit during, so I should have some yarn ready to go.
