Yes, I'm out the habit of posting. I've been reading and yarning plenty, and got a new cat to replace the two boys who died within a week of each other. New cat is sweet and laid back.

And I had a job interview today, and I think it went well. I'm not posting on FB unless I get the job. I was told that HR has them on a strict timetable, so I should know by Monday. Which means I might be leaving at the new year. I am very excited. Commute will be worse (longer and into the sun), but the money is better, and I'm ready for a change.

Yeah, that can be a bit of a grind on the daily; I spent a year living in Lawrence and working out in the Independence area, and after a year I was glad to move to someplace on the KC MO side... much as I hated to leave Lawrence. ;_;

And with Lawnchair in his ideal job (back end IT support for KU libraries), we're not moving. I hope to be able to get onto a vanpool, which means most days someone else will be doing the driving.
