Finished up today. I have a temp card in my wallet, and should get the real one in a month or so. I doubt I will be diving in the next month, so I should be fine. I also have water stuck in my ear. It is driving me up the wall. I tried putting some alcohol in it to dry it out, but the alcohol hurt. Which makes me worry what I did to my ear.

Walked up to Diamond Head this afternoon. Watch a guy kite sail, and ended up chatting with an old man (81 years old, I am justified calling him old) and he gave me a ride back to my hostel. Is that hitchiking? I figured he wasn't the type to kidnap me. I got back fine, though he offered if I was staying longer to drive me around the island, which he does everyday, listening to slack guitar music. I decided to pass. I'm not feeling that social.

I fly out tomorrow and will be home Wednesday.

Really not water stuck in your ear, just feels like it. Eustachian tubes narrowed due to flying, diving etc. Try antihistamines. Should work.

while i know nothing about tubes in one's ears, i do hope that they feel better soon. it sounds like you had an awesome trip, as i have just read quite a few of them. hope you have a great flight home.
