Traveling Again

affrecaI leave tomorrow for my one week trip to Hawaii. Due to the archipelago nature of the state, I shall be confined to Oahu Island (where Honolulu and the cheap airport are). Just reserved a bed at one of the hostels for a couple of nights. I will see if I like it, and where else I can go. It might be laziness, but I prefer to make my plans when I get there, but two nights will give me time to get orientated and decide if the hostel is a good deal or not.
I am glad that I came home for Thanksgiving (I didn't bother updating since I saw half of my regular readership). Got started a bit later than I planned for the trip back to Larryville, and hit snow north of Omaha. I wasn't sure how bad it was going to get, but it cleared up south of Omaha. Driving panic averted. All I need now is the ability to drive a stick shift, and I can be a real driver.
My kitties missed me. Barry was the worst when I went to bed, but Lou was the most persistent. She is not allowing me to sit without her on my lap. She is going to be really crazy in a week, though. Poor thing.
