Like I Needed Another Addiction
Nov. 16th, 2004 03:27 pmYep. I have developed a sick obsession with proofing pages. Thankfully it is just round 1 (the projects are run through two sets of proofreaders, one set who fixes the easy stuff, and another that catches the mistakes and tries to standardize the style) as I enjoy fidgeting around, but not searching for the smallest errors. As I figured I had practiced enough with the beginner projects, I did a couple of pages in a linguistics book about counting. One of my random interests. I sort of want to read it when it is all the way done. Silly me. If I stay interested for a month or so, I might have to list it as one of my hobbies in grad school aps.
Needless to say, the essays aren't being written. I want to get the first round done by Thanksgiving, so I torment random relatives to read them. "Criticize this!" (Because, they never actually seem to criticize anything about my life, which makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong, as I'm in my mid-twenties and unemployed).
