I hope this works like going to the bathroom while waiting for food, and I find out soon that I get the state job. But starting December 6, I'll be answering the student financial aid helpline from noon till 8:30 pm. Not ideal, but steady (until we're all let off in September) and livable pay. And with two weeks notice I won't feel guilty if I get a better job.
