So there's another round of women who write science fiction, and people posting their top 10 lists. I'm not good with figuring out my favorites and I dislike that it seems to always be the same names. So I decided figure out what other names I could come up with. And to get as many as possible, went through my librarything catalog and post all the authors that I own science fiction books by. Maybe it will inspire one of you to check out a new author.

I'm happy to see that you have Janet Kagan on your list. I corresponded briefly with Janet Kagan. Alas, she died a few years ago. I've asked for Tepper's Grass for a gift as I've yet to see it in a bookstore.

The Trek book is Uhura's Song (which I have not read because it is a Trek novel). I have both Mirabile and Hellspark snuggled one against the other on my book shelf. 8^) She hooked me with a Loch Moose Monster story I read in an anthology.

My sister has probably located a Grass on Amazon. It'll save both her and me the trouble of trying to think up a giftmas present.
