First, the photo from today - Lawnchair holding the milk crate of produce he picked this evening. A lot of sauce in my future.


So we bought a wood stove insert so we can use our fireplace for heat. Here it is before installation.


And then here it is after installation. We did not have to raise the mantle, instead they installed a mantle shield. The theme seems to be black.


And then some of the weaving I did while confined to my bedroom. Here is a tablet woven strap in wool in kivrim pattern.


And a picture of the silk strip I'm currently working on.

Thanks. We went a little crazy with planting this year. Some didn't work (raspberries, cherries and rhubarb), but some went really well. Apparently our soil is good for Roma tomatoes. Hope to save some for chili this winter.
