Joys of Cleaning

Three groups of people over tomorrow, so doing a bit of cleaning now. So far I've mostly puttered, but I did manage to clear off the mantelpiece (as one of the people is the chimney sweep/inspector in prep for getting the wood stove insert). Which not having been touched since we moved in, was covered in dust and cobwebs. Will stop sneezing soon.

Wood stoves are lovely. My parents have one, but they NEVER use it any more.. they only ever did when my sister and I begged them around Christmas. Sad to see one not in use.
