Lingering Effects of a Sinus Infection

Yep, there's the storm come through. If the wind and rain weren't enough of a clue, I can feel it in my right cheek.

Ouch - I hope you've weathered the storm.

It was just odd feeling. Took some sudafed and was mostly fine.

Thankfully we're at the top of the hill. We got 2.3 inches this storm, and the ground is saturated from the last several, so there was some flash flooding. (http://www2.ljworld.com/photos/galleries/2010/jun/16/june-16-severe-thunderstorm-and-flooding/) The third picture is about two blocks from where I spent 7 years of childhood, while the 10th (http://www2.ljworld.com/photos/galleries/2010/jun/16/june-16-severe-thunderstorm-and-flooding/72350/) is two blocks from the house we rented before we bought our current place. It drained quickly though, we drove through 23rd and Ousdahl (http://www2.ljworld.com/photos/galleries/2010/jun/16/june-16-severe-thunderstorm-and-flooding/72366/) a couple hours later with nothing but mud on the road.

I was impressed by the streams coming off our yard. You could see the compost staining the runnoff (which was a 2 inch deep stream between our yard and A's). Impressive for just one yard's worth of catchment.

Better shift how you are sitting then, maybe . . .
