Not The Loom I Thought It Was
Jan. 9th, 2010 10:37 amActually, my suspicions were confirmed. I got a response from Leclerc (makers of the newer loom) and it is the bastard offspring of a couple of looms. They have no good advice. It works, and my treadle tie up hack job is mostly working. Shrug. I don't blame the seller - she was not the first owner by a long shot, and I doubt she knew.
ETA: Just got a second email from Leclerc -
It is a kind of Artisat 36" with a bench attach to it.
A few units have been produced and sorry I do not have any instruction or pictures to show you.
Many parts are still available.
So maybe it isn't a Frankenloom. Just highly obscure.

Looks much like the one I worked on at KU. Then again, most looms look pretty much the same.
