Quiet Day with Boredom
Dec. 26th, 2009 03:50 pmI was really restless, so I shoveled most of the driveway this morning (after tromping out back because for some reason the snow shovel was in the shed and not in the accessible garage). Then I went in, warmed up, and finished digging out the car with Lawnchair. After the first block, I was ready to go back home, but he was sure it would get better on the bigger streets (especially if we choose a flat route). 6th street wasn't much better, so we decided to turn around in the Dillions parking lot (and at least hit the grocery for decent sweet and condensed milk). Went home without getting to the grocery store.
But standing in the grocery store hardware aisle gave Lawnchair ideas! So I tried things, he tried things, I tried other things, played with combinations and math, and eventually hacked together a system for the treadle tie-ups. It isn't pretty, but it seems to work. I'll tweak it a bit more later, but I should be able to weave. Which is good, because I keep having dreams of stuff to do.
Otherwise, bored. I could cook cheese cake. I could read. But I'm bored.

Date: 2009-12-27 03:04 am (UTC)I have that same problem lately. There is plenty that I could do, but I feel bored and restless anyway. :/
The big thing I should get around to is cleaning the house. It's so messy lately!
