The Day After a Concert

affrecaI'm tired and lazy today because we didn't get home until 1:30 last night, and yet I didn't manage to sleep in much today.
Last night, Lawnchair and I drove over to Salina to meet his parents and watch his favorite band, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. It was a fun concert, with lots of playful showing off of skills by the band. Because of the season, a number of the pieces were Christmas music medleys.
And there was the reason I wanted to go to the concert - Alash. They're a group of four Tuvan throat singers currently (well as of last night) touring with the Flecktones. I've wanted to see throat singing ever since I heard of it, but it is even more awesome live. And it isn't just the novelty factor - it is beautiful.
