What I Learned in Brussels

Finally got restless enough to do what I have been talking about since I left my first groceries in the trunk of the car in August. Yep, went to George's Hobby House and bought a chocolate mold. The one that looked deep enough and a cool shape was a turtle. Currently trying to make some cherry cordials. And not wimpy American ones, these have liquor. Mango rum, since that's what I have in the house. Not pretty, but we'll see how they are when solid. Leaky, but I'll get better.

Other than that, sitting around. I was doing some jewelry making, but that is hampered by kittens. Their latest annoy habit is knocking around their bowls when empty. A subtle hint, I think.

Glad to see that the tradition of when bored, making something sweet to eat will be passed onto the next generation! As a child, the Nelson household made alot of fudge at night. Of course, we devoured it. Barb
