Living in the City
Yesterday evening, I was surfing the internet while Lawnchair ate dinner. First I heard sirens, and commented that I hear them more often here than the old house as we're closer to major streets. Then I heard a helo, and commented that I hoped the two noises weren't related. About 15 minutes later, I was outside and saw the helo take off from playground a few blocks away. Finally, I noticed a firetruck with its lights on redirecting traffic.
So if you're going to bike, please wear your helmet. Potholes don't respect anyone, and you might just survive long enough to be airlifted because of your second near fatal bike accident.
