Still At It
Jun. 6th, 2009 01:45 pmLawnchair hauled the washer and dryer over this morning. Of course, it started to rain just as we got back to new house, and managed to rain just long enough for us to get everything in. I also got my Cindys, and trimmed some bushes so the electricians can work next week.
One of the good bits of moving is that it gets me to sort and clean stuff. Today I got rid of the extra spices (do I need three large jars of parsley, all of which are at least four years old? No) and washed down my spice rack (I have a lazy susan with my most commonly used spices next to the stove, the rest is up on shelves next to the stove). I now live within walking distance to hippy grocery and they have bulk spices, so I refilled some the spices we were out of (chili, rosemary and ground cloves). I remembered that I didn't actually get all the spices from the old house, so more tomorrow.

Date: 2009-06-06 07:11 pm (UTC)Congrats on getting rid of the parsley. We have a big jar of it that we hardly ever use. Fresh is so much better anyway. :)

Some things have been "lost in the move". I might put up a list of things that I think are worth something up for locals.
