lawnchair is getting worried about timing (is there enough for bank to finish up by Friday), but as I've never bought a house I don't know how likely it is. Instead, I'll be the optimistic one.
My sister sent me a filk of Hotel California about my home town. It's obscure unless you've lived there. As a hint, most of the locations he namechecks are bars. Vermin is a small town (10,000 pop) with a college (6,000 students).
