Who Needs Moderating Bodies of Water

"Don't like the weather, it will change in five minutes" is one of those things you learn to accept living in the middle of a continent. It was 36 when I left the house at 8. It is now 17.

In other news, my left eyelid has been twitching off and on since yesterday morning. Quite disconcerting.

In other news, I am a lucky ducky, way more than I deserve. After accepting that I must finish my thesis this semester because I have no more funding, I got offered more funding. One of the other grad students got a fellowship and the department had to hurry to find another grad student to be a TA. So this semester I am a TA for GEOL 101 (rocks for jocks), GEOL 577 (Environmental Geophysics - which is an awesome opportunity for me to get more practice with a variety of techniques) and The Imperial Barrel Award (which is actually an exploration competition). Happily, I won't be diving into savings. So I really need to finish this semester.

That was my first guess, but I don't feel particularly stressed. With job for the semester, I should be less stressed.
