Question for Soup Lovers

What spices go with beans (red and dried lima) and spinach? It is currently cooking in chicken stock and vegetable bullion.

I dunno about rosemary. I'd go with oregano and garlic.

You could do Indian spices.

Or alternatively, maybe thyme.

I might try that next. The last batch of bean soup was chili, so something milder sounded like a nice change. But I love my Indians spices.

It's probably too late this time around, but if you want to try something a little different next time, cinnamon actually goes really well in bean and spinach soup.
