I was in a restless mood yesterday, so I decided to go shopping. I hate being so stereotypically female, but going to Target to buy things I need helps settle my mood. Don't tell the guys. I got a bedside lamp, a ladle and potholders. I am tired of asking guests to use the towels as oven mitts. And I make to much soup to not have a ladle. I also bought a pack of blue pony tail holders. They included a neat hoop to hold them all, so I attached that to one of my bathroom shelves. Organized holders! I then went downtown, figuring I would read and sip some Chai. I couldn't figure out why it was so crowded, until I parked. Traditionally, the stores downtown Lawrence stay open later on Thursday nights. Went to Sunflower to check out kayaks and tents. Did not like any of the tents they had. I believe in having a porch area on my tent. But they had a sale on Tevas. My last pair bit the big one a month ago, and they are nice to have when biking or canoing. Cool, yet require less effort to keep on. They only had really big ones, and size 5 in the cheap type. $28 and I scored, because I fit in size 5.
