It Is the Little Things In Life

Actually, the things that aren't as little as they used to be - like my waist. Time to go up in pants size. After months of failing I finally found pants I like/fit at Goodwill (and accepted that Goodwill charges close to $10 a pair now).

And two rolls of muslin. And four yards of what I hoped was sandwashed silk (turns out to be a synthetic by burn test). And another pair of berks. Not a bad haul, but expensive.

Mmm...Shopping. What a wonderful thing some days - a curse on others.

I just finished up making/putting together most of my Christmas presents. I have 3 people left to do minor shopping for. Can't believe I'm talking about that before Thanksgiving. I am stoke for Thanksgiving back in Vermtowne. Are you going to be around?

Not planning on heading north. Last year spoiled me, and I really don't want to do the drive (especially if I going up for Christmas - it seems silly to have my two trips home a month a apart, especially if family is coming down half way in between).

I don't know about Christmas gifts. lawnchair doesn't want anything other than me progressing on thesis, and I have no clue about parentals. And even less clue for the nephews.
