Or why my opinion of John Edwards fell when he admitted his affair. I don't care what people do in their bedroom. And I don't know the status of his relationship with his wife, it might have been open.

I sort of care that he and his wife used their "normal family"ness as part of his campaign. Hypocrisy pisses me off.

However, my real reason for anger is it demonstrates a high level of arrogance. He ran for the Democratic nomination. If he had won the nomination, this would have cost the Democrats the election. Even if I don't care, a large portion of the US does. And if he thinks he can hide an affair, he could try to hide other crap in his administration. And we've seen where that gets us.

Please keep comments on Edwards. I am not in the mood to discuss anything with politics. You're my friends, and we don't want to get into it.

Yep. I really wish I didn't care about politics. So damn heart breaking (and hair tearing out).
