Teriyaki Marinade - Nomm

Well, using what's the in the fridge:
1/3 c Nigori sake (not the good nigori, though)
1/6 c soy sauce
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp garlic
Marinade for 1.5 hour. Broil steak for 12 minutes (or so, it was a bit better done that I usually go). Serve with scalloped corn, spinach-raspberry salad (really, that is all that is in the salad), and couscous made with turkey stock (not made in the proper way by steaming it, but super simple way of warming the stock and couscous in the rice cooker).
Full of sweet, with tartness from the salad, savory from the couscous and salt from the steak.
And I have leftovers.
