Matching my Sweater

I'm apparently still in a purple and grey rut for fiber arts. My samples yesterday reminded me how much playing with my spindle, so I dug out a few ounces from my scrap bin and blended some batts. I started spinning the first one, and realized it was the same color as my sweater. It reminded me of something that I learned from my first spinning teacher - we tend to gravitate to the same color in fiber arts as our t-shirts. She mentioned this after class, as myself and several other students were all wandering around the store, picking out fiber to spin when we got home. We all looked down at the fiber in our hands and the shirts we were wearing, which matched for each student.
