Great Outdoors

Hike went well. No rain during the hike except five minutes around four in the morning. And both the drive down to AR and back. I figure packing my rain gear and buying a rain cover did it's job. My thighs are hurting whenever I stand, but otherwise I feel good. It helps that I'm apparently the only one who packed a warm sleeping bag, and wasn't cold at all. Definitely worth it. I'm debating signing up for the April back packing trip. It looks like it will be the weekend after my Parsons field work (normal three-four days + 1 day extra of oversight), so I'm not sure I'll be in the mood to sleep in strange places and interact with other human beings..
