Big Projects

Finally working on dressing Loom of Doom. I am taking breaks as I go, due to back pain (which suggests Loom of Doom might be going back on CraigsList) and heat (really, humidity). And I'm watching Utena in prep for my WisCon panels. I've made a least one relevant observation (both magic girl shows and fairy tales will have odd repetitions). Not in the mood to camp.

Just got the latest Hillcreek Studio newsletter, and it includes two classes I really want to take. I plan to take NATURAL DYEING: Missouri Dye Plants in September and ANCIENT DYES: The Lesser Known Dyes for my birthday. Woot! Certainly planning on carpooling if anyone is interested.
