Jan. 2nd, 2011 03:20 pmIt is hard for me to review the year in total with the last month + being so full. I feel like I was on hold for the rest of the year. I did quite a bit of crafting, and learned some. Related to that, I found two more groups of people to socialize and craft with (SCA and KVFG). I read a lot. I went to a few conventions, including WisCon (Graydown is a great con buddy) and DragonCon (with a great group of conbuddies). Saw my little brother

Jan. 2nd, 2011 05:38 pmAfter a month ignoring it, I pulled out my spinning wheel. Sadly, it was not working right. A spot of oil helped, but the maidens were still loose and thus the drive band kept slipping off. My bike tools are the only ones that I know exactly where they are, so I pulled out my multitool and tightened stuff. I spun for about half an episode of Burn Notice until my out of shape drafting hand started to hurt. So back to knitting.
