New Windows

Barry was being obnoxious this morning, playing with the blinds on the living room window. Finally, I just got dressed and lifted up the blinds. Cats are happy with their new window (my craft table makes a foot wide ledge in front of the entire window, so there's plenty of room).

Setting of Goals

This week's goal is to clean a room a day. Today was the easy day, the bathroom. Toliet really needed it. Tub is white, but that won't last, sadly. All I have left is sweep and figure out how to scrub the walls (I don't usually clean walls, but bathroom walls seem to need it. Note to self, tile bathrooms when owning own place. Comet is our friend).

Because this livejournal, I can't post without talking about the cats. When cleaning, I closed the bathroom door (cats + chemicals = less cats). My cats are needy, and proceeded to gather around the door, taking turns trying to open it. Now Lju is trying to lick my feet. Comet is catcrack to her. Wierdo.

All About Me!!

Goals for this summer -

1) Bike at least once a day every day that I'm in town and it isn't raining all day (and maybe if it is raining - I have fenders on both bikes now, and appropriated the bike raincoat.)

2) Make at least one thing creative a day. It can be dinner (so more than Mac and Cheese) or another jewelry project. Or tune up another bike (thinking roadbike with minimal stuff. Marin is kitted out now with lights, fenders, a bell, rack and a tool kit under the seat. While perfect for my commute bike, it's a bit much for a road ride).

3) Clean. Bathroom looks nice now. I've let someone else shoulder to much.

4) Garden. This means watering the herbs once a day (they're in pots). Kill at least some weeds every day. Today was treelings. Contrary to my SoDakian soul to sacrifice trees, but most of the weeds in my front yard are redbuds or elms.
