Though I think it is just a cold. I get very self involved when I'm sick. I went into work, and asked my boss what would happen (I am accrueing sick days as we speak, but not allowed to used them until I have been regular full time for 60 days, which is some time in early April). I get 3 attendence points (if I miss the full day) but they don't add any more if I miss any more this week. And I don't get paid. I sat down at my desk, and felt really woozy. I kinda feel bad for driving home. Makes me wonder if the out of it effect I feel from cold medication is not cold medication, just brain power decreasing as my body focuses on staying healthy. I figure I'll lay down and watch anime and Roswell and tell my body to get better. I just don't feel I'd be giving good advice today.

How to Win A War
Mar. 2nd, 2005 02:14 pmI really try to stay away from politics in this blog. However, I am starting to worry again as my friend Matt is leaving soon to go back to Iraq (I don't quite know when, he from the rumors I've heard he finally met a girl who can stand his courting style and is slightly distracted). But this story interested me. Not just on providing a taste of home for the troops, but the included story about providing the troops with ammunition that actually helps win the the war. All hail the conquering beanie babies. I saw some small ones for a buck at Goodwill, I might just buy some and send them on.
