Silly KU

Not much exciting. Well, I did go to an Ani concert Wednesday with Jen. I'm to hang out with her a bit more this weekend before she leaves. Which is good, because I shall be alone this weekend. I plan to clean and organize in my alone time, but we all know that means I'll just curl up and read all weekend. I figure there is a 50% chance that I will end up impulse buying a anime series, even though I'll really shouldn't. Tom won't even be back for my birthday (technically, the day before when my birthday should be). He's driving down to New Mexico with his parents to see his cousin's wedding. As he only has three cousins, and one is already married, it is vaguely important. As opposed to me, who seems to miss everyone's wedding.

Still brainstorming geology and library science ideas. Most of my ideas are really in one or the other fields with vague tie-ins. Got an email from KU saying they hadn't received my transcripts yet (from KU). As I sent them to Graduate Admissions (as I was supposed to), which is in the same building where they are printed, I am quite perplexed. I just ordered one for immediate pick up and walked it down to geology department. I know they have it now. At least they are currently considering my application.

Nothing much else. I went out to Thai-Siam last night (early birthday, bad mood), so have wonderful curry for leftover lunch.
