Not much useful today. Slept good, though kept waking up with my kittens crawling under my blankets to curl up next to me. Cute. Cleaned out some of the nasties in my fridge and attacking my dirty dishes. Figured it was time to start another soup. Figure I can convince Tom to eat some of it over the weekend.
Underground Soup
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
Cut and fry.
2 Parsnips
1 Carrot
1 Cube vegetable bullion
Milk
Chives, Parsley, and Oregano
Cut Parsnips. Dump onion, garlic, parsnips, carrots, spices and vegetable bullion in crockpot. Add enough milk to cover. Turn crockpot on high.
2# Red Potatoes
Cut and fry potatoes. Add potatoes and enough milk to cover to crockpot. Simmer for several hours.
Remove some solids (avoid carrot chunks), and blend. Dump back into soup.
